This book was made at the request of Don Ed Hardy and features the flash gifted to him by the legend Pinky Yun. Organized by Taki Kitamura, Ed's collection of 8 full color large sheets and a huge stash of line drawings is supplemented with pieces from the collections of Jimmy Shy of Taiwan and Jimmy Whitlock of the Lucky Tattoo Museum. Including the famed "Sailor Jerry back piece" designs, this historical volume has scores of designs ready to be tattooed, or just appreciated for their power, beauty and historical significance. 


In addition to personal photographs and candid photography by John Agcaoili of Pinky and his shop, Dragon Tattoo, Taki has included Pinky inspired flash, tattoos, and statements by Leo Zulueta, Doug Hardy, Colin Baker, Paul Dobleman, Tony Hundahl, Bert Krak, Britton McFetridge, Alan Pham, Matt Shamah, Jimmy Shy and Pat Vonderhaar. Ed Hardy also shared some of his renowned tiger designs and personal photos!!
